A Person, a Universe
On Loving the Useless
Some worlds run on a logic too real to look believable. A character who has grown a logic of their own will sometimes move like a person, and at times, remain more vividly than one. There are things that can become real precisely because they do not exist. I take that gap into language and carve it there.
There are moments when even silence becomes a kind of conversation. I believe there are things each person can take from a blank space. A world can be found because it was not spoken all the way through. It can be uncovered because something was left unsaid. Fiction is not the opposite of truth. It is an imagination that has stayed long enough to become responsible. A creator is not simply someone who makes what did not exist. A creator gives a name, a life, and an ending to what could have disappeared.
That is what this archive is for: to leave the things that do not exist as records that do. Only what needs to remain is left here. The rest is yours to take.
What do things become when they remain as experience, thought, or memory? Where do sentences go when they never arrive?
When questions like these gather quietly and become part of a person’s life, can we still call them illusions?
